The ConditionMonitor application allows you to create condition monitor files which can contain any number of condition monitors. This allows you to conveniently group condition monitors for various gaming groups, character groups, etc.

Each condition monitor allows you to record the current damage levels, and the current immunity from pain levels, automatically computing the total target number modification based on these values.

Each condition monitor indicates when the character is asleep (from stun damage of 10), or dead (from physical damage of 10).

When condition monitor files are saved, all the current values for each condition monitor are saved.

Condition Monitors appear sorted alphabetically by name of character.

To add a condition monitor, use the menu item on the Edit menu. You will be prompted for the name of the character and the character's Body value. The Body value is used to create a section of the condition monitor for over damage. Note that this section is limited to 10 squares.

To remove a condition monitor, use the menu item on the Edit menu. Note that it is only enabled when a condition monitor is selected. To select a condition monitor click anywhere in it (not on another user interface element like a slider). You should see that it is selected because it will display hash marks. To unselect a condition monitor select another one, or just click on the one selected.

To record damage click on the box that represents the new level of damage sustained. When doing this, all boxes to the left of the selected one are selected as well. For example, if the character sustains a Serious physical wound, and has not suffered any physical wounds yet, just click the box marked S on the physical damage row, and see how all boxes us to the S are now selected. If the character had already sustained a Light physical wound, click on the box just to the right of the box marked S instead.

To clear damage click on a selected box down to which damage is removed. When clicking on a selected box, all boxes to the right of it are deselected. For example, if a character has sustained a Serious wound and it is healed down to Moderate, click on the box to the right of the one marked M.

The over damage area is only enabled if the Physical damage is set to full. Whenever the Physical damage area has some boxes unset (to represent removing damage), the over damage area is cleared of any damage in it.

To set an immunity level from pain, slide the appropriate slider to the point matching the number of boxes that do not cause pain to be registered.

The technique by which the immunity from pain works is that it removes the number of boxes of immunity from the total number of boxes of damage. Therefore, if there are a total of nine boxes of damage, and an immunity of level 6, the total number of boxes used for target number modification is 3, and therefore a +2. If the immunity from pain is supposed to disappear when its level is exceeded, you need to move the slider back to 0 manually.
